Byte Brothers Real World Certifier,
By
This review is from: ByteBrothers RWC1000K Real World Certifier 2 (Electronics)
I purchased this certifier about two months ago mainly to certify one new installation of 76 cat6 cables. The price was my main concern to get the job done. Compared to other testers on the market, this is by far the best that money can buy for ease of use and getting the results required. It prints from memory, up to 250 cable certifications both on cable only AND ports on switches and computers. I had a customer complain that the cat6 cable was not allowing 1 gig to his equipment when in fact it was the port on his switch that was at fault. Showing him the results on the testers screen of both the cable and the switch proved the point. Great product for the budget minded cable installer or network certifier!!

RWC1000 Tester,

This review is from: ByteBrothers RWC1000K Real World Certifier 2 (Electronics)
The RWC1000 is an excellent tool to certify cat5/6 cabling and data jacks! After you use it a couple of times, you won't have to go back to the book to recall the steps for testing the data cable. It does an excellent job to provide the certification you need, either on screen or print-out on an Excel spreadsheet.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: ByteBrothers RWC1000K Real World Certifier 2 (Electronics)
It worked awesome. I tested the wires in my new home before buying the home. Found 1 bad, and 2 below spec wires, which were fixed as a result of my testing. Sure as heck cheaper than the Fluke monstrosity, and does everything I need it to do. Sturdy design. Worked with both COAX and RJ45 cables. The COAX to RJ45 adapter was missing from the packaging, but not listed as "included". I called ByteBrothers to ask where I could order the adapter, and they apologized and send me one within 2 days for free. (apparently it was supposed to be included!) :) If you want to use mine, just send 1/2 the cost of the Fluke product, and I'll come over test your cables for you! ;)
