I have enjoyed this book very much. The only criticism I have is I wish it had a bunch of color plates in it so we can SEE more of what is described. But the descriptions are fantastic and highly useful. I cannot recommend this book enough. It is a must-have book for anyone interested in secular clothing in the middle Byzantine period.
