This expansion for the MS2004 and MSX is the best C-130 experience for any experienced and inexperience simulator pilot. The program is very easy to install and comes complete with a 240 page pilot's notes manual for quick reference and for expansive information about the C-130's systems, technology, and checklists.

The book, [...] brings all the proceedures, take/off landing speeds, emergency proceedures, real pilots manuals (PDF) and much more.

The 2004 installation comes with 3 models with 53 liveries (paint jobs). The FSX installation comes with 11 variations of models with 28 paint jobs. This installation is especially cool with the AC-130, KC-130, Blue Angels with jet assist, coast guard and the well known Lynden L-100 with 3 variations.

The interior is as close to photo-realistic as your video card allows, with full virtual cabin. Every button, switch, knob, dial and guage works as in a real C-130 on the pilots, copilots, and nav's areas. Emergency proceedures are especially fun because if you dont do things in the right order, FS doesnt pick up the slack. I have already enjoyed 6+ hours of flying around. I don't plan on putting it down.

One word of advise, get pedals for coordinated turns, and make sure you visit avsim.com for advanced scenery for Little Rock, or Rammstein AB. FS2004 has an awesome add-on for KLRF with the addition of over 70 C-130s on the ramp that complete missions and fly patterns at all times of the day and are a blast with new voice packs. I highly reccommend expanding your Flight Simulator Experience with this pack and some new downloads.

The product was difficult to install because of the copywrite protection on the installation/program disc. I had experienced some trouble with my samsung disc drive, and after buying an external sony disc drive, the problems went away like a bad dream.
I complained to tech support and they replied that an update patch would fix the problem, however, I had the program installed and running by then.
The sim is fantastic, a lot of fun. Worth the money.

HAVE PLENTY OF SIM-AIRPLANES TO FLY, ALL EXCITING BUT THE 130 IS A BLAST, JUST FEELS AND PERFORMS LIKE THE REAL UNIT. GREAT FUN FOR THE SIM-ENTHUSIAST AND A WINNER FOR ANY WANNA-BE

This is a great program. It is a large and intricate program, and very detailed. It even comes with a 240 page pilots handbook! This is good one for Flight Simulator X enthusiasts.
Currently, I am running a 2.83GHz Pent 4 CPU with 2 gigs of memory, and a nVidia 7900 GS OC graphics card and it just isn't enough to get near what this program will do -and it is just the aircraft add-on! It has many liveries and configurations, everything seems to work, and it has very realistic response to flight inputs, load configs, and even weather. I haven't even scratched the surface of this program, but I will! I am building a new monster system just based on my wanting to run this program at the highest settings! My new system will use a new mobo with the X58 and the ICH10R chipsets and the 'new' i7 quad-core processor technology; AND I am going to SLI a pair of nVidia GTX 280's. Yeah, it will cost me and I am going to over build, but it will expand for years to come. Also since I can't do much else, and my system is my main connection and my entertainment, it is worth it for me! If the latest software, including this one, is any indication of what is coming down the pike, then we are on the brink of a giant leap in program requiremnets like happened in the mid-90's. Keep that in mind if you are shopping for a new system. But even if your present system is a little shy of the requirements -as I am now, if you can get usable fps out of your system you can fly this baby. It is worth it if you have FSX.
I also must mention that Just Flight is a great company. I have been corresponding with them for a few weeks now about this very program and it's requirements, and they are very cordial, helpful, and genuinely interested in their customers using their software. Class act.
So this software gets TEN stars in my estimation: FIVE for the product and FIVE MORE for the support.

Order this Flight sim for FS 2004 add on.... I had an issue with is not being able to find the DVD. Contacted Support which was a great help in resolving the issue. I had to do a download file for not finding DVD and was the fix. This is just an awesome program once I got it to find the DVD. Unbelievable, awesome and just a lot of fun to fly. Comes with a big manual and very detailed. Lot of working controls. Just what I was looking for flying. Many planes to choose from and sounds are great. Put a good smile on my face. Now just ordered P-38 by Just flight too. Great review and is what made me buy it. After the P-38 will come the F-117. Just Flight does great programming and very helpful for support. Been Dealing with customer support in England for about 4 weeks now. The installation program can't recognize the DVD. We tried many things. Finally they ask me if I want another one of their products. Got to give them credit for sticking with me on the problem but we both lost lots of time trying different things.

I am currently a Naviagor on 3 of the models of the C-130.

Pros:
-Relativly Good replication of the real C-130 cockpit in the E model.
-Very accurate sounds of engines, flaps, ect...

Cons:
-I was hoping there would be some C-130 Missions added, not just planes.
-Does not differentiate between the E, H and J Models accuratly. The J model is a full glass cockpit but in this game it shows up the same as a 60's E model.
-Not sure it was worth the money since there are alot of free C-130 models for FSX.
-I wish it had more detail on the Nav station but I am probably biased about that. ;)

I am very pleased with the very detailling of this aircraft and it's operation. I to fly this plane in FS-X. The book on the aircraft is very informative and detailed. I highly recommend this aircraft to all of those who own FS-X

Great Investment. Had a little trouble loading program, but once I found the on site patch it loaded without further problems. I was up and flying within minutes. VERY realistic flight controls and feel of the plane. Graphics are realistic!
