For the size and the price Squadron Signal usually does a pretty good job of detailing the aircraft it profiles and covering their essential history, and this is certainly the case with the C-46.
In many ways the Commando is a forgotten airplane in spite of the fact that it served the U.S. military from WW-2 through Vietnam, and those seeking to know of this comparatively obscure transport will be well well served by this publication. |
