2.0 out of 5 stars Weird version of a CTW classic , What happened cookie?
I just loved this album as kid playing it tons of times and going through several siblings too. I'm an uncle now and wanted to see if it was available on any format it looks as if it was. But only by namesake ( The Title I Mean). So I was a little disappointed as many were that had this album when we were younger. I still have cassette, but would like get an upgrade of...

5.0 out of 5 stars Not the same..., January 21, 2001
By A Customer
This album is great, but it's not the same as the one I had as a child, which was also called C is for Cookie, but had different tracks! The cover was the same, I think. It had Casey McPhee and C is for Cookie and Bakes a Cake and Circles, like this newer one, but I don't remember any of the others being on it. It also had a song called "Cookie Monster's 3 Wishes", with a genie in the toothpaste tube.

So as great as it is to find Casey, and as much as my toddler will love this one, personally, I'd love to hear if the older version was still available anywhere... hdunham@sympatico.ca.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!, May 4, 2001
By A Customer
We purchased this CD for our son's first birthday. He LOVES it! He has to go to sleep every night with this CD playing in the background, and even wants to play with and carry around the CD case! We are big "Cookie Monster" fans at this house and were excited to see that there was even something like this available. And I swear that I remember some of the songs from when I was little! Cute lyrics; fun music; Cookie sings with several other familiar Sesame Street characters; children old and young will love this one!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Buy For Cookie Monster Fans, March 26, 1999
By A Customer
After brousing through the internet looking for old childrens programs,I came across the cookie monster album. After debating wether or not it would be to sad to listen to, I downloaded some samples. I was In hesterics,It was so funny I rushed out the next day to see if I could by it anywhere but to no avail. So I am in the prossess of buying it off the internet, once I've got a credit card. This has to be a definete buy. I am a 22 year young male and would not be one bit embarrast to own a copy. If you are a 80's child like me it is most definetly a album you should have in your collection. I will have one as soon as I get a credit card.

Oh man, this CD is freakin' awesome. I listen to it before I go to the gym to get pumped. Every song on here is great so you can listen to the whole thing without skipping songs. I wish there were more CDs like this. I love to rock out to this disc when it's party time. COOKIE RAWKS!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST Sesame Street album!!, May 31, 2011
This is the first Sesame Street album my wife and I got for our daughter years ago. She loved it upon first listen and couldn't get enough. I must admit that I found myself really enjoying it as well. It definitely is not boring and you will especially enjoy it if you like Cookie Monster at all. He sings in every song, unlike some other Sesame Street albums that feature characters on the album cover only to have other unrelated songs mixed in. I have heard dozens of other Sesame Street albums. Bert and Ernie's Greatest Hits is a good one too but this one easily is tops in my opinion. We could go back to this one and never get bored or tired of listening to it. There truly is not a bad song on here and "The Ballad of Casey McPhee" is my favorite. "Breakfast Time" with Ernie is also a classic fun song. These songs were so good they were in my head for days afterward and I thoroughly enjoyed our car rides when this one was spinning in the player.

2.0 out of 5 stars Weird version of a CTW classic , What happened cookie?, February 23, 2009

(REAL NAME)
I just loved this album as kid playing it tons of times and going through several siblings too. I'm an uncle now and wanted to see if it was available on any format it looks as if it was. But only by namesake ( The Title I Mean). So I was a little disappointed as many were that had this album when we were younger. I still have cassette, but would like get an upgrade of some sort sometime. Whoever own the rights now needs to get clue and return this title to it's classic run order like it was in the 70's and 80's like as is:

C" is For Cookie

Up and Down

The Magic Cookie

Circles

Cookie's Poem

We'll Do It Together

If I Knew You Were Coming I'd've Baked A Cake

M-M-M Monster Meal

The Monster's Three Wishes

Ballad Of Casey McPhee

Me And Yo

C" Is For Cookie (reprise)

This was a classic and was fun for kids to listen to, all these other songs now don't fit in my mind what this title was once a kids delight at one point. Now not so much songs thrown together like mess and not in a good way. Whoever Own The Rights,Please Leave CTW (Sesame Street) Classic Albums as is, don't change the order of the songs or omit classic ones , when you reissue them please! They were in a perfect song order when they were released the first time in the 70's and 80's. They Don't need to be messed with, just a little remastering to make them sounded nicer ok. I'll be waiting to buy the real title when you release it. until then i'll have to copy my old cassette into some sort of mp3 file to listen to for future listening although i was hoping to buy a CD of this title too bad.

5.0 out of 5 stars ENJOYABLE FOR TODDLERS AND FUN FOR ADULTS, October 24, 1998
By A Customer
My grandson wore out the tape he had so we were happy to find the Cookie Monstor songs on a CD. He will be so happy to have his favorite songs back. Songs are fun for both 2 year olds and for adults who have to listen too!

If you're a cookie fan, this is great, it has a lovely train song with Casey McPhee in it, and a cute song with Ernie about breakfast menus. As a parent, I like the funny lyrics, so I don't get too tired of listening over and over again...
