The bristles are soft and the brush is small enough to fit in her mouth.

The toothbrush is easy to use and cats love to chew it to get the toothpaste off.

This is the best pet toothbrush I've found for my cat. Most pet toothbrushes are too large and intrusive when I try to put them in my cat's mouth. I gather most pet toothbrushes are made with dogs in mind. Finger brushes are terrible. They are too large to attempt to stick in my cat's mouth and the bristles seem too small and flimsy to effectively brush her teeth.

My cat does not mind C.E.T. cat toothbrush in her mouth. She doesn't gag like she did with other, larger, pet toothbrushes. The bristles are long enough to reach her teeth and gumline without forcing too much of the toothbrush handle into her mouth. The bristles are also gentler on her gums. With other pet toothbrushes, her gums would sometimes bleed - I assume because of the tougher bristles. I also like the toothbrush because its head is angled and makes for easier access to harder to reach places between her teeth and her gums than the standard pet toothbrush.

The only negative I have about this toothbrush is that it loses it's shape too quickly. This MAY have more to do with my cat's treatment of the brush while in her mouth than the toothbrush itself. Kitty instinctively chews on the bristles whenever I brush her teeth. So after about 2 months of brushing her teeth every other day or so, the bristles are chewed down so much that they aren't very effective anymore. It would be nice if the brush lasted as long as the toothpaste it comes with, but with my cat, it doesn't.

Currently, the C.E.T. cat toothbrush is not sold in multiples so you must buy the one toothbrush and the sample toothpaste that comes with it. Buying them this way can get expensive especially the way my cat goes through them.

I began using this kit for my cat about 6 mos. ago and he actually enjoys having his teeth brushed. The special cat brush is the only one my cat will tolerate for daily brushings! I like that the small brush head fits in his mouth without my having to pry his mouth open and the tapered bristles enable me to get right up to the gum line. The brush's overall small size is very easy to grip and the angle of the head makes the brushing experience pleasant for both me and my cat. He also seems to really like the taste of the toothpaste. I would highly recommend this product for a pet parent that is interested in beginning an oral care routine with their cat.

The small tooth brush works quite well in my cat's tiny mouth, compared with the long brushes that shaped like brushes for people you normally see in the pet stores. However, since the bristles are long and soft, the brush sent out of shape after 6-7 use and may need to be replaced.

The tooth paste came in a small plastic pouch, which was a really bad design. The tooth paste was enough for at least 10 use, but after you opened the pouch, there's no way to close it back. I just had to put the whole pouch in a small sandwitch bag to prevent it from drying out. But the paste still dried out in the open of the pouch, making the next squeeze difficult and messy. It'd have been a lot better if they can put the paste in a small tube with a cap.

This brush is ergonomic as well as more efficient, easy, & safe than the finger cot kind. My cats tolerate it better as it's much less intrusive. As my current one has frayed with use I simply trimmed it a little to extend its life. Works just as well! Great product!!!

My cat was diagnosed with lymphocytic-plasmacytic gingivitis stomatitis (pretty much means his gums stay inflamed and can ulcerate and get infected) this past spring. I had his teeth cleaned by the vet and she recommended brushing his teeth daily. At first I thought "Yeah right! How am I going to do that?" But, I took it slow and started just petting around my cats mouth for a couple of seconds at a time and gradually worked my way up to sticking my finger in his mouth and touching his teeth. Then I started using a finger brush without toothpaste and added toothpaste after about a week of just dry brushing. This was all well and good but I just couldn't get to those back teeth...and that's where most of the problem was.

Using this brush I can apply toothpaste to all my cat's teeth. He chews on the bristles and that helps even more. His back gums have gone from an angry red to a healthy pink. There is no doubt in my mind that this toothbrush has saved my cat's teeth and added years of health to his life.

Brushing a cat's teeth is not as bad as you think it would be if you start slow and gradually work into it. Plus, it only takes about 30 seconds.

This tiny little toothbrush is perfect for cats' small mouths. I feel that I can much easier get gentle circular motions and really brush my cats teeth and gums without sticking my finger in their mouths or a huge brush. The toothpaste is a must. I think it is pretty good tasting and it distracts them. I definately recommend this product for at home dental care for your kitty. Not all cats are amenable to toothbrushing but if it is going to be possible I think this product is your best chance.
