I have a sheltie with an underbite. These chews are one of the only chews he will chew on. Sometimes I buy the petite chews and sometimes the medium ones and I cut them apart. The petite chews look different then the medium chews. My dog seems to like them both.

I find that feeding my dog carrots (my vet's suggestion) seem to work just as well in keeping my dog's teeth clean. There are some benefits to using this product (long shelf life--great for travel, etc.) so I still keep them around. They really do work, but you need to decide for yourself if they are your best option.
