Incredible pictures and uplifting story,
By A Customer
This review is from: C.L.O.U.D.S. (Hardcover)
I first bought this book in 1989, when my son was six. Since then, I've bought copies for his second and third grade teachers, for every friend turning seven or eight years old, and for our own library. The story describes how a new recruit to heaven's division of cloud making decides to make life beautiful for NYC and for a special girl who actually looks into the sky. The most interesting point is that the book features African-American characters, a point I did not even notice for the first four years I was buying and giving the book. (Maybe that says more about my powers of observation than anything else, but the drawings are stunning.
