Creating a storage system that makes sense to everyone from warehouse worker, office worker, maintenance staff member or student is very beneficial in the workplace or schoolroom. It helps cut down on time spent searching for information, supplies, etc.
Shelving racks help to store more items in a small amount of space. Creating a system that identifies what is stored on each shelf will help locate products, supplies, files and information more efficiently. It will also make it easier to put items back in the correct spot when finished.
Using plastic holders to store shelf labels allows you to instantly know where things are stored. Depending on the style of the shelving rack, C-Line has a variety of label holders to choose from.
The Best Value Peel & Stick Shelf/Bin Labels are created from a flexible plastic material that makes it easy to cut the holder to size. V-shaped with three sides open, inserts can be placed in the holder by loading from the top or the sides. The type of adhesive used on the back of the holder makes it reusable and repositionable.
Another style of holder lets you load the white inserts from the sides, since it is sealed on top and bottom. The tubular, channel shaped holder is made of rigid plastic, which is durable in nature. Attach this type of holder to a metal shelf by using the magnetic backing.
Open on three sides, the premium, permanent self-adhesive holder makes it possible to insert the labels through the open top or the sides. This holder is J-shaped, so the front panel is slightly smaller than the back. Use the holder with the opening on the top to slide in the labels or as a clip to display larger pages when the opening is faced down.
The Labeling Pockets are available in 3-3/4” x 3”. This pocket has a clear front, which opens on the top for easy loading of the inserts. This holder can be used to identify mail boxes or lockers in an office or school, and can even attach to students’ desks to visually show assigned seating.
Many of C-Line’s label holders come with several different size options. All of the holders come with label inserts that can be customized and easily inserted into the holder. Use the back side of the insert or start with a new one if the contents of the shelf have changed. The holders, however, can continue to be reused.
Best Value Open Edge - Open on Three Sides
These economical, V-shaped, clear plastic holders have the ability to attach to a flat surface and then be repositioned. If the holder is in the wrong place or the shelving unit is replaced, simply remove the holder and move it to a new location. Insert customized labels in the holder through the top or the sides. If the holder needs to be a specific size, simply measure the 6” holder and cut to the required length.
Slide-In Channel - Open on Two Sides
The Magnetic Shelf/Bin Label Holders are great for labeling metal shelves, racks and even filing cabinet drawers. Made up of heavy duty plastic, these tube-like channel holders are sealed on the top and bottom, so the only way to add or remove labels is by inserting through the sides of the holders. Use a label maker or write directly on the blank inserts to customize how storage shelves are identified.
Premium Top Load - Open on Three Sides
Since this holder is made for permanent use, the premium, heavyweight plastic material helps protect the label stored inside over a long period of time. These holders can adhere to almost any surface that is flat, clean and dry. Open on three sides, labels can be inserted from the top or either one of the sides. The holder has a J-shape where the front panel is slightly shorter than the back panel. This design ensures that the label is secure inside the holder.
Poly Pocket - Open on One Side (Top)
The Labeling Pockets are 3-3/4 x 3 inches in size, taking up a lot of surface space. The pocket attaches to many flat surfaces like desks, mail cubbies, lockers, folders, bins, cabinets and more. The archival quality polypropylene that makes up the holder will protect inserts stored inside. Use the inserts included with the pockets to create customized labels. Search C-Line 70443.
