This book is perfect for those who love scrapbooking because it is an 8 1/2 X 11 three-ring binder which allows you to move the pages around, add your own pages, and even remove some of the provided pages that you do not want. The provided pages cover everything from dental records to mom and dads wedding. With lots of pages for photos. It is very thorough. Another advantage is that the book is suitable for either a boy or a girl. The pages are decorated with green ivy and small animals. Because you are really able to customize the entire book, I believe it is the best baby book on the market.

All through my pregnancy, I looked for the perfect baby book and this one is definitely it! Others that I have seen pale in comparison. This memory scrapbook is one I can keep for seven years to document birthdays, holidays and other milestones. It's beautiful to behold. It is looseleaf-bound which is convenient for adding scrapbook pages easily! The colors and quality are stunning. I cannot wait to fill it up for our baby from infancy through first grade! It's beautiful inside and out and suitable for both baby girl or boy. Being a scrapbook hobbyist, this is excellent paper. Great shower, Christening, Jewish brith milah or bris gift as it will last forever.

I got this book in a slightly unusual way...the tightbound book that I bought, well the pages started to fall out about 3 months after I began using it. I contacted CR Gibson Company and without any questions they told me to pick out any other baby book that they sell! They shipped it to me with many apologies and I am thrilled with it. Now I am going to buy it for anyone who is having a baby...it's beautiful, has add on pages and clear page protectors for those items you don't want to (or there isn't room to) glue on to a page. I was so disappointed when my tightbound book began to fall apart (and they are even paying to have me send it back to them so they can have quality control look at it!), I never thought the company would do what they've done for me. They tell me all their books have a lifetime warranty. GREAT BOOK AND A GREAT COMPANY!

I purchased this record book for my 4 1/2 year old. I had the regular tight bound books and after having THREE of them fall completely apart on me I had just given up on memory books in general. So, for the past 2 years I have been keeping my son's baby keepsakes in a regular box. I only began to explore memory books again when I found out I was expecting another child. I was delighted to find this memory book, which was perfect for my older child and for the baby on the way! I love the neutral colors and the fact that this book can hold more and won't be falling apart on me like the regular tight bound books. I love this design so much that I purchased not only the memory book, but the photo album and first year calendar as well. I wish I had found a looseleaf baby record book back when I was expecting my first child. But, I have one now and I love it! I have recommended this memory book to all my friends who are expecting, and I would highly recommend this book to you too!
Oh, and one more little bit of advice, you can go to the C.R. Gibson website and find other designs that Babies R Us doesn't carry. I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Originally I had this same book, except it wasn't with the 3 ring binders. When I found this, I was so excited! I purchased two of them...one for my older daughter and one for my younger daughter. IT is so easy to add pages and to make it more of a personal book, than just the typical baby books. This has every section you would ever need for a baby book and lots of extras!!

This baby book has a lot going for it. It is a binder, so pages can easily be added, removed or shuffled. It covers every important detail that a mom would want to document. This is especially nice for moms like me, who are not that creative and need guidance when putting memories together in a fun and informative way. The pages have lots of room to add your own photos, stickers or comments and there are extra blank pages for you to use and insert within the premade pages. This book is appropriate for a boy or a girl, so it would make a great shower gift regardless of the sex of the baby.

There are a few ways that I think this book could be improved. With the binder format, it can be difficult to write on the back side of the pages so I take them out of the binder to write. A firm plastic insert that could be placed under the pages while writing would make it easier (like the plastic on your checkbook cover that you can slide between checks). Also, this book has place to attach things such as the hospital bracelets. I'm not sure how to best attach them. Tape will eventually get discolored and sticky on the sides and glue won't hold. A little clear plastic pocket on the page would be a great way to handle this. Lastly, I think it would be neat to have some stickers included that moms could use to make the book more expressive, personal and fun.

Bought 2 of these, this is the best I have found :)
