"Both for the novice and the knowledgeable, this is far more than a book packed with information about the life and thought of C.S. Lewis. It is not only filled with fresh insights into Lewis, but is also full of profound wisdom and practical help for the life of faith. This is nothing less than a solid defense of Christianity from one of the greatest apologists of all time."-Ronald Higdon, Pastor, Broadway Baptist Church, Louisville, Kentucky
"Written in clear and cogent terms reflective of Lewis's own style, this volume describes the devotion dimensions of the Christian apologist's life: his views on spirituality, prayer, Holy Scripture, and friendship. Reading this engaging work, you will discover nourishment for you own spiritual, intellectual, and moral growth. It will whet your appetite for more of 'Jack' Lewis."-Henlee Barnette, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, University of Louisville School of Medicine
