I have been using this shampoo for about 5 years, and I LOVE it. My hair is medium-fine, straight and on the oily side, and normally I avoid "hydrating" shampoos as they tend to make my hair limp and greasy looking. This shampoo contains glycerin (my favorite moisturizing ingredient in hand lotions as well) which makes my hair shiny and easier to style. I find if I switch to another shampoo that my hair gets a bit straw-like, comparatively. The feature that originally got me to buy this shampoo from my salon was the fabulous scent. It is a true citrus scent (thanks to essential oils) unlike most other "orange" or "citrus" shampoos on the market.

I needed a sulfate free shampoo to use on my hair after my Brazillian Blowout (and for my previous Keratin straighteners). I wanted something that would smell nice, leave my hair clean and not cost $20 a bottle. Somehow I can across MOP C Hydrating Shampoo. I double checked to make sure it didn't contain the dreaded sulfates (which will not maintain the chemical straighteners as long as a sulfate-free product) and the I ordered it. I am happy to report it has a pleasant and light citrus scent, that is appropriate for a man or a woman) and leaves my hair clean, easy to style and soft. I would even use it if my hair were not chemically straightened.

I have sensitivities to sulfates in shampoos. This shampoo has solved my problems. Because it is sulfate free it won't lather up as much as typical shampoos, because of this is also doesn't strip natural oils out of hair. It leaves the moisture in my hair while cleaning it. It has a natural light citrus scent that isn't overly perfumey like a lot of shampoos. Great for Curly hair!
