Excellent Book for Teens with Cancer and Their Families, April 2, 2001
This review is from: The C- Word: Teenagers and their Families Living with Cancer (Paperback)
I have a child who was a toddler when he had cancer. But we knew so many teenagers on treatment and their needs and emotions about treatment are so different. I bought this book for our Candlelighters Lending Library and was very impressed with the frank and honest nature of the book. The photography and journaling are beautiful and grounded in reality. I was very touched by it and recommend this to all teens with cancer and their parents.

This review is from: The C- Word: Teenagers and their Families Living with Cancer (Paperback)
As a professional dealing with this everyday of my life, I found the insight and stories contained in Ms. Dorfman's book to be of tremendous value to myself as well as vitally necessary for the patients and families I deal with. If you or anyone you know has a youth or adult touched by cancer, you must read this book.
