Another color cartridge bit the dust after just 8 months and only 100 pages printed....all with B&W text and minimal color.
Lexmark has always made great printers...the toner just does not the last 1000 pages advertised. Another point....when your Lexmark printer says "toner low" you better have a cartridge standing by. If a color (any) cartridge goes empty...guess what you can't print any more...even if 100% black is selected. The printer won't do anything until you feed it another cartridge. I now have mine set to 100% black...hopefully the color cartridgers won't say "toner low" any more. Next time I get the "toner low" message on a color cartridge...the Lexmark C540n will hit the trash! |
