The moldings are very crude, with excess plastic everywhere and odd bumps where one would have expected smooth surfaces and faired curves. The handle and body are two pieces held together by a single snap, which allows handle to rotate with respect to the body, and which will soon break in ordinary use.

In catalog photos it looks like the LeClaire & Bayot Plastic Shampoo Brush, but the LeClaire & Bayot (which I also have) is far better made, and they cost about the same. Simply put, this appears to be a crude knockoff of the LeClaire & Bayot shampoo brush. The Denman shampoo brush is also much better made.

In short, there are better choices.

I've been using a shampoo brush all of my 50+ years. I can't find them in the store anymore, so I tried the Internet. I ordered 3 different ones to try. This one has a good concave shape, but the bristles are a little too stiff for me. They may be just right for someone with thick hair.

This brush is sturdy enough to scrub the scalp, and will stand up to the abuse of daily use in the shower. It is also difficult to find in most retail stores, so the availability on Amazon is very handy.
Delivery was prompt and the price was quite reasonable.
