CAD/CAE Descriptive Geometry provides a sound foundation in the fundamentals of plane geometry (mathematics), orthographic projection (technical drawing), and high-speed communication methods (digital computing). The material presented in this textbook is based on the premise that readers have access to IBM PC or PS/2 compatible workstations running AutoDesk software. Daniel L. Ryan is Professor Emeritus, Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina. He received his BA degree and MA degree from the University of Northern Iowa and his PhD from Pacific University Online (formerly PWU). In his teaching career, he published sixteen hardback books, seven paperback books, fifty-seven journal articles and numerous reports. He has been a frequent invited lecturer in the United States, England, Ireland and China. His books have been translated into Russian, Polish and Chinese. Dr. Ryan is also a member of the Tau Alpha Pi national honor society.
He is an avid reader and student of American history. He has traveled to forty-eight countries on four continents. This is his first attempt at a history based series of novels set in the middle of the nineteenth Century. His first attempts as a fiction writer were published by AuthorHouse as Calm before the Storm, Death Before Dishonor and Lull After the Storm.
