Walt Silva has over 30 years of broadly based real time engineering experience. As an active proponent, speaker, instructor and consultant on CAD techniques, CAD standards, and concurrent engineering tools, he has helped to revolutionize the product development process. Silva has a BSME degree from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Peter H. Smith was President, Chairman and Co-Founder of CADKEY, Inc. In 1981 he helped produce the first commercial based 3D graphics tablet. Smith was a finalist in the INC Magazine/Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Smith received his BS in Physics from Bucknell University, MS in Physics from Trinity College and an MS in Applied Math from RPI.

I am trying to teach myself CadKey19 since a company in town uses it for it's part layouts. They have no one who knows 3d there, but thanks to this book, I have a good foundation of 3d knowledge. With a bit more playing around, I am sure to get very good at this. This CD was great, but it did lack some important information like how to move and rotate finished parts into an assembly, but on how to make 3d objects, it is very adequate. I would recommend this CD to anyone learning CadKey.
