Being a Cake Decorator...I really love the control on this airbrush...the fact that you can set your PSI to the pressure that will not blow a whole in your icing is GREAT! I really do like the fact that it is small and compact...I have not been disappointed with mine. I have had it over 6 months now.

I have to say that for the price is an excellent starter's kit; however if someone needs to get serious about painting with airbrush systems in a frequent basis then this system will not make the cut. Here are the reasons: a)the compressor tends to overheat after extended periods of use b)the airbrush is good for detailed paintings that require low air pressure, but is not adequate for spraying larger areas quickly. The airbrush did not come with cleaning instructions so whomever wants to buy this kit I recommend to do some research on how to clean and maintain this product. Our airbrush got clogged after six months and we had no idea how to take it apart or clean it so we ended up buying another airbrush with better maintenance instructions.

I finally got around to using it this past wednesday and it worked wonderfully! Just like one I had used in a comercial store in the past!
I would recomend it to anyone :)

When I received the airbrush set I was estatic. I got it out and followed the little directions that I had recieved with the airbrush and it wasn't working.... So I had to get my dad, who is familar with airbrushes because he paints cars for a living, to come and set it up. Well we achieved to get air flowing out of the compressor and then the Master airbrush itself was not working correctly... So we had to pull the airbrush apart and put it back together to get the trigger to work correctly. It seems as though the piece that secures the trigger was loose so it was flopping back and forth. Finally when we got everything together it worked perfectly I have no complaints about its performance but the setup was ridiculous... It was shipped in a timely manner so I have no complaints about that either. Just expect to be calling support when you recieve you set. All in all it was a great price for what you get, I bought this set with the pearl food coloring as well. I am mainly going to be using this set for decorating cakes. I also wanted to note that it states in the directions not to use the compressor for more than 10 minutes at a time and to take a 15 minute break before using again. I Think this set would be perfect for personal and commerical use.
****Update****
I've had this airbrush set for around 3-4 months now, and it is still chugging along! I did have a mishaps with it (My fault), the needle became logged in the tip somehow. Which I'm guessing is a result of my two little brothers messing... Anyways, I started tapping the needle on a table to try and jiggle it loose, so I could get the tip out. This was definitely a no no, the top of the needle bent, rendering the needle useless. Lucky enough, it is super easy to fix and get replacement tips for this airbrush. This same company, TCP Global, sells the needle kits. .2 Needle, Nozzle, Cap Kit G22,G23,G24,G25,G26,G34,G39 This is the link to the needle kit that I purchased, and It works well with this airbrush (G22 Model). I'm changing my rating to 5 stars because I feel that this has been a very reliable product, despite the first hiccups I had with it. I use it all the time, and it has held up very well. I can also state that this compressor has a considerable amount of power to it, I have air flow set very low on it. (I can't speak for other airbrush machines) But I feel that if you are not needing a heavy duty compressor like this one, you could get away with a cheaper set. I personally have fallen in love with this machine, it makes my cake decorating life easier. If I am using fondant on a cake and the color is super hard to get, I airbrush that junk! It is so convenient to just airbrush a deep purple, blue, or even red on the cake instead of.... Kneading, kneading, and more kneading. I also have to note that I still have all the airbrush colors close to full, those that came with this kit. I've used them so much but there is still a ton there. The only thing that doesn't last as long is the white pearl. I bought the pearl "set" which come in a couple of different colors in littler tubes and it was gone in no time. Instead of buying the pearl set I would buy a large bottle of regular, and metallic pearl. This should cover all your pearling needs! I haven't really used any of the colored pearl tubes, and the tint of the colored pearls doesn't add much to the cake.

I have decorated cakes for a while but I have never used an airbrush. This product is great! you can adjust the PSI to accommodate any type of detail you want. The compressor does get a little warm but it has never shut off or given me any issues. There are no instructions for the airbrush itself but [...] has some great videos on cleaning and maintaining your airbrush. The colors that this set came with are nice colors. It is also a good price for everything this kit includes. I would definitely recommend this product to cake decorators!!

I was excited when I finally received this kit. At first my gauge wasn't working so I called the company and they sent me a new one right away, no charge. Since the new gauge, the pressure is great. I like that I can change the pressure that comes out for an even or darker spray and you don't have to go over the same area often. When there is not enough pressure, you will have specs on your icing or gumpaste. I worked on a beach themed wedding and all my decorations were gumpaste, the colour is very vibrant and you don't need alot. I also use the colours in icing because it does not thin icing! Which is amazing!

The compressor isn't very loud, but it says to only use it for 10 minutes and then turn it off to cool down, it does get warm but I have yet to have it really hot. You can press the valve for the compressed air to release itself, if you find that it's over heating.

I decorate and design cake, Im a sugar artist and wanted to try something new and branch out with airbrushing. Although I have NEVER used it before I love it. At first when I got the equipment it wouldnt work for me I was upset because I was entering into a cake contest and needed the machine, I called the company after pulling up a tutorial on the air compressor the company was ver nice and tried to help me over the phone they had an Idea of what it could be and rushed me a new part right out no charge to me and it has worked perfectly every since I will continue to buy from CPI and recommend them to anyone.

This airbrush kit works great! The directions that came with it were a little lacking but there's not much to it so it's pretty self-explanatory. But when I turned it on the pressure was too high so it shut off automatically and I had to play around with it to figure out how to reduce that pressure to get it running again. But once I figured that out I had a blast airbrushing my cake!! I don't think I'll ever waste time again kneading color into all that fondant!!

Loved this item!! I've never owned a airbrush/compressor before, had no problems learning how to use this particular brand. I took a airbrush class at my local cake decorating shop prior to purchasing this item, which helped me learn how to use and clean an airbrush/compressor. Over all quality of this item is great! I would definately recommend! Can't beat price for this particular item!

I expected to have a few problems with the airbrush after reading some of the reviews. I pulled it out of the box and had it running within a few minutes. I've never used an airbrush before, so you have to know that it's pretty easy to run. The compressor is very quiet. It does get quite hot after a little while, but works for the small amount I've been using it.I think I'm going to get the quick disconnect for the air hose. It's a little difficult to get the connection tight and then back off the brush itself. Other than that, I think it is overall a good deal. It came a little too late for what I needed it for, but still is a valuable asset to my cake decorating.
