5.0 out of 5 stars camgrip
It works! While my small digital camera has two stabilizers plus
a high OSI rating, it was difficult to shoot pictures without getting
movement blur -- this little device has prevented that from happening.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good quality, but....
I have been using the Camgrip for a little while now with my HD camcorder to see if it would help steady my shots. What I like about this item is it is great quality, and it really gives you a more natural grip on the camera. My only gripe with the item is it is a bit too short. I would've wished if the camgrip was a tad bit longer, my hands aren't all that big and it...

I have been using the Camgrip for a little while now with my HD camcorder to see if it would help steady my shots. What I like about this item is it is great quality, and it really gives you a more natural grip on the camera. My only gripe with the item is it is a bit too short. I would've wished if the camgrip was a tad bit longer, my hands aren't all that big and it still feels small. You would be almost better off with a mini tripod (using it closed like a monopod), a good monopod, or a steadycam, but at this price, it is worth the try.

4.0 out of 5 stars Steady hand!, March 1, 2009

Alls you could ask for is if this thing was a little bigger. What a deal with shipping.(limit 2!) I drilled a hole close to the bottom and fit a strap so one hand handles it all. Just the steadiness you have gained is superior.

This handle was purchased for use on a Flip camcorder. The shots come out amazingly smooth! Anyone looking for an inexpensive way to gain steadier shots... this item is a must!

If you're a professional photographer with steady hands, you don't need this product.

For everyone else, you'll get three benefits from a grip like this: 1) The grip will help you steady your camera. 2) The grip will help you avoid dropping your camera, and 3) The grip will help keep your fingers from obscuring the camera's lens or flash.

It's cheap and durable. Get one, heck, get two. Because your friend is going to see this and want one for herself. And you'll end up looking like a good guy :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Completely Awesome., May 1, 2010

This great gadget transforms a mini camera, allowing it to be held securely and more steadily for better shots. The ONLY thing I would prefer, is to have a female receptacle at the bottom, so a mono-pod could be screwed in. That would elevate for a few more inches and give great grip. AND it fits into the accessory pocket of the "OP/TECH 8401114 Small Neoprene Pouch" (Amazon also). Completely and totally awesome.

Price decreased by almost a whole dollar since I bought it two weeks ago!

I agree with all the other reviews who said that this thing is too small.

I have very small hands, and I still find this thing too small.

May be this thing is designed for kids.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT for small digital cameras, July 11, 2009

I got this and the other pistol grip too. This one is way much better. It screws into my Sanyo Xacti FH1 video and also slips in the carry bag next to it. Makes holding the camera so much easier. I got the other pistol grip for this camera too (BARSKA Accu Grip Handheld Tripod System, going to try them both out, see which one I like better BUT it has a small pointed screw that extends out and makes the camera off angle from the base. So I don't recommend it for small equipment). This is great if you have a small video camera (like a Canon FS100 or Sanyo Xacti FH1) because it makes it more comfortable to hold and shoot video.

I originally bought a Camgrip for a Canon Powershot and loved it. I now own 3 of them and use them most of the time with all of my cameras.
They're especially great for big hands and small cameras.
