I love the fact that this is an indie game and made in Winona, MN the town I live! I am an avid card player and love to discover new games though usually they fall far short of my hopes. Not so with this game!

I thought posting basic rules for playing CARDS vs. DICE (Strategically Lucky) would be very helpful for someone who has never played the game.

Number of players: 2 to 4 players
Contents of the game are: Two dice, 24 cards (4 each of 1 through 6), 25 "LUCKY" cards and the “Rules” card. All in a nice compact plastic case.

1: Each game typically lasts 5 to 10 minutes. Before beginning decide how many rounds will be played. The player that wins the most rounds wins the game.
2: Shuffle the cards and divide them evenly amongst the players.
3: Put out the stack of LUCKY cards facing up to form a draw pile.
4: Decide who goes first by having all players roll the dice, the person with the highest roll will start the game (game moves clockwise).
5: You roll the two dice and try to play cards from your hand to exactly match the sum of the two dice. You can discard one or as many cards as you want as long as the card(s) you are discarding match exactly the sum of the two dice. You can discard only once per roll and then it’s the next person's turn to roll the dice.
6: You collect a LUCKY card every time you play two cards from your hand that exactly match the pips of the two dice. For example if you roll a 5 and a 1 on the dice, you would need to discard only the 5 and 1 cards to collect a LUCKY card.
7: If on your turn you can't play any cards to match the sum of the two dice, you must take all the cards on the table others have played and add them to your own cards. Then it is the next player's turn.

Whenever we end up playing this game, we have to go for at least 4 or 5 rounds, or until lunch break is over. It's quite addicting and engaging. Brilliant in its simplicity and design. I'm usually not much for card-based games as I usually get lost in the rules, but the rules for this one are quick and easy to grasp, yet the game is solid and never predictable. It's rare to see this much fun packed in such a small package!

I bought this for a little stocking stuffer based on the reviews. It is a fun game that can be played with 2, 3, or 4 players. Exciting because, just when you think you are a sure winner, everything changes. It's also a nice game to fill in a short amount of time and easy to carry on a trip.

I bought this as a gift for my grandchildren, 8 and 5, and we spent hours playing the game. It's fun for everyone, doesn't require a lot of time to play each game, and I thought it was especially good for the little one, who's just learning about combining digits in math. It's really simple: All the cards are dealt to players until there are none left. With a shake of the two dice, any combo of numbers from 2-12 come up and the player has to discard playing cards that total the number on the dice into a center pile. If only two cards are needed (6+2 for 8, or 4+4, etc.), then the player gets a "Lucky" card. Only one shake of the dice per player ensures the game moves along, but if a player cannot use any combination of remaining hand cards to equal the number shook on the dice, he or she has to pick up the entire discard pile! The winner is the player who gets rid of all his or her cards first, OR the player who first accumulates seven "Lucky" cards. I highly recommend this game.

We had two groups of four players between the ages of 9 and 92 playing this game at our family Christmas gathering. Everyone enjoyed it!

Not much instruction wise. Roll the dice to get combinations and win cards. Is a pretty easy and quick game, so a nice break on game night between games that you have to think or have/will take awhile or when some folks want to take a break.
