Another nice collection by my world traveling companions at Putumayo! This offering travels all over the beautiful region showcasing the diverse talents and culture and rich history of this area. My only complaint is the brevity! Come on, Guys! Add another 3-4 tracks. We know there is lots of music out there. Liner notes are good, lyrics (and translations) would be better, but I don't want to nitpick. This is nice party music for this time of year and will be getting lots of play during our summer parties along with Putumayo's "South Pacific Islands" and "Islands" Keep up the good work! this c.d.and a cocktail;(may I suggest...) coconut rum and cranberry-tangerine juice. Enjoy! Summer's Comin' !!

My family and I visited the Carribean and forgot to purchase a CD of the great music we heard. This CD captures the wonderful sounds we heard and brings back memories of our trip.

While all Putumayo CDs are fantastic, this particular Caribbean one is amazing. The smooth blend of culture, rythym and language combine to create a fantastic CD. The music is both energising and relaxing, and i find it very good to study to :) The non-english lyrics allow the CD to wash over you without making you think, it just allows the music to envelope you in calmness :) i strongly recommend this CD :)

Love this product and the seller is super to work with. We'll do more business in the future!

It has a nice peppery Latin beat. I love Ska Cubano's remake of Chango. They're on youtube and I love them. I have shared their music with others and Ska Cubano gets rave reviews. I love Amazon more each day. The CD is great, but the distributor left a lot to be desired. I ordered 3 Cds from different companies the same day. Two of them were at my door within a week - less than two weeks. I ordered another CD from someone else later... it came in the mail quick. Doolicity, the distributor took a few days over a month - over 4 weeks. The slowest service that I have had. Their response is not an example of good customer service either.
