5.0 out of 5 stars A Strange Omission, January 15, 2011
This review is from: BOB & CAROL & TED & ALICE (ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK LP, 1969) (Vinyl)
Is there any explanation as to why Sarah Vaughan's rendering of Handel's MESSIAH, PT3 (I Know My Redeemer Lives) was cut from the film, although it's included in this soundtrack album? Am curious whether Ms. Vaughan originally appeared on screen singing or recorded the song for the background soundtrack, before it was cut. Does anyone out there know the reason? I'm sure Quincy Jones would know, but don't know how to reach him. The album is beautiful and Sarah Vaughan sang divine , as usual.
