This review is from: PRO SLIM HARD CARRYING CASE SPECIFIC FOR SONY DCR-HC38 DCR-HC48 DCR-HC52 DCR-HC52 DCR-HC96 (Electronics)
It's a nice case, sturdy like it says and reasonably priced; however I was expecting it to hold all of the accessories that originally came with the camera. Really all you can fit in there with the camcorder is the handycam station, USB cable, a spare battery and maybe an extra MiniDV tape. It's usefully if you're on the go and only plan on taking the essentials to shoot a few hours of footage and then upload it to a computer, but I wouldn't use it for a vacation where you might need a battery charger or the DC cable, because you will not get all of that into the case.

I also question its weatherproofing seeing as there is an obvious space between the two zippers and the velcro strap that covers them where water could enter. I'd be a little concerned if it started to rain heavily.

I was also quite disappointed that I could not fix one of the straps that slid out of the clamp attaching it around the zipper. So I pretty much paid $20 (not counting shipping) for a case that I used three times.
