my son got this toy for christmas last year and it was a huge hit. the buttons on the back of the car make the car go forward, backward, turn in a circle and say a variety of phrases. you program a sequence of directions and then press the go button and watch Lightening McQueen take off.

My son especially likes to make the car bump into things because the car says "hey, I'm built for speed, not crashing" or "ouch, watch the face".

the eyes and mouth on the car move when speaking. This toy is a lot of fun, and was easier than a R/C car for my 3 year old to work independently. Battery life is average - lasts maybe 3-4 weeks with heavy use.

This was a great purchase for my 2 year old son. He LOVES the movie Cars and this car does it all...it walks, talks, has a million different functions and my son loves this toy. Another plus is this car is extremely durable...my son "accidentally" let the car go over a flight of concrete stairs...I knew the car would be in pieces or at the very least not work anymore. NOT AT ALL...the car still works perfectly. Must buy.

My 7 yr old son picked this out for my 22 month old son for Christmas. It has withstood all of his abuses and he loves watching it circle the living room!

This car made a great gift for my young grandson. He's into "Cars" and this gift was the icing on the cake for him. His eyes lit up when he opened this gift and got bigger when he saw that McQueen walked & talked. I'm pleased with this product and especially pleased that my grandson thinks I'm the "best Grandma ever". It doesn't get any better than that..

I bought this item at Walmart for $16.99 on clearence. GREAT TOY. It is very loud and you need a wide open space to get it to do all the tricks but with that said I would buy it again. NOT FOR $140! SERIOUSLY AMAZON??? This price is disgusting. This toy (in my opinion) is not worth more than $40. I have found great deals on Amazon but this is NOT one of them. Good luck to the moms and dads out there getting prices jacked up to ridiculous and completely unrealistic amounts around the holidays. Shame on you Amazon.

Bought this for my best friend's son for his birthday and he loved it. He was a little rough with it but never was able to destroy it. Held up pretty well to all its "crashes".

We bought this for our son's third birthday "big" present, and he LOVES it. He has played with this nonstop since he opened it yesterday. Any kid who likes Lightning McQueen will adore this car!

(I just wish you could lower the volume because this thing is pretty loud. Add in the laughter of a hyper toddler and it can be hard to hear yourself think after a bit. *g*)

I am 36 and like how this car sounds/moves! This is such a fun. I bought second one for my friends' kid. It looks pricey but, trust me, it is worth every penny spent.

Got this car for my friend's two yr old boy, who loves Lightning McQueen. It is so durable, and he loves it. Switching the settings is so easy, so that the sayings are different each time, and the car moves in different ways. It's his new favorite toy. The car held up despite bumping into several pieces of furniture/walls. I like that there's a switch to turn off the sounds if you prefer. It works better on flat surfaces, such as tile or wood, but it held up well on carpet as well. The flashing lights, vocal sayings, and motorized movements make it seem like the cartoon character was brought to life. Highly recommend!

it walks and talks and races and poses for a picture!

got it for my 2 1/2 y.o. grandson....complicated to arrange the "dials" on the back...but it does not matter ...he just pushes the green button and kachow...lightning talks and walks and races...he loves it!

you do need a wide open space to get the full benefit...as it does not move well from hard surface to carpet....but still it is endless fun for him!
