Hanwei Solingen Sword.
I received the package two days after ordering it. It was packaged well and was in good shape...no dings on the shipping box. The sword fits loose in the scabbard but not a problem. poorly made - more for wall hanging than use
I got this sword to practice, not hack and slash but very ritualized fencing. The thing fell apart in the first 10 MINUTES of use. The pommel is just barely soldered onto the blade. The blade seems fine, but all over the ad it says they can be used for fencing. Literally, the pommel is screwed in with a screw that is poorly made and fell apart in my hand. This...

I got this sword to practice, not hack and slash but very ritualized fencing. The thing fell apart in the first 10 MINUTES of use. The pommel is just barely soldered onto the blade. This without even an opponent. It is Christmas day so I won't bother with it today but I guess I learn (and write about) about the return process tomorrow.

I had my eye on one of these for a while ,having taken saber fighting when I was younger. These Blades are excellent for the money not gaudy ,but well made and nice balance ...a very usable blade .. My son and I have started sparring with the interchangable practical blades, and this is not epee ,or foil fencing this is a different animal! These are tough usable blades ...enjoy
