After looking at all the other shoppping carts I am extremely glad I choose this one. I wasn't sure which one would be best for my 1 1/2 yr. old neice. A lot of the other shopping carts seemed to be too bulky or just cheap. This one is a tad bit cheap looking but for $20 what do you expect. However it is sturdy and moves well even on carpet without tipping over. What I am really happy about is that this shopping cart is not too heavy for my neice to push around and not too bulky for her to squeeze around corners, as well as not damaging walls or furniture. I was impressed with the fact that this cart came with "fake food" items, which wasn't stated in the description. Needless to say my neice absolutely loves this cart. She pushes and even pulls it all over the house, taking items out and putting them back in. This was her favorite gift for christmas, and probably the least expensive.

after recieving this toy, i realized how over priced it is. the structure is pretty flimsy and seems like it wont be able to handle the beating my son is gonna give it. the play food is pretty lame also. mostly all cardboard and the 2pieces of play fruit look nothing like the real thing. they look more like the balls you find in a ball pit. After 10 minutes of my son playing with it, i took it away and requested a refund from amazon. the main reason for the return is that because of the flimsy material and the poor design, it easily tops over. my son is a seasoned walker, runner, dancer, but when he slightly puts his hand on the handle it tips over and it sends him falling to the ground and on top of the cart. he;s played with other kids play carts and they didnt do that, so I am on a quest to find a better, safer one.

The toy shopping cart is not durable at all, plus it's too short for a 5 year old and causes them to "lean" on the handle, putting too much pressure on the cart. The cart basket itself leans downward, which puts more pressure on the non-durable wheels. It did not hold up at all, and I would not recommend buying it to anyone--sorry, as it's such a cute cart.

My child has been walking for awhile now, so this is not being used (and CAN'T be used!!!!) as a walker. I have to put something like a small book in the basket to weight THE FRONT DOWN. You put any weight on the handle and it flips backward. She liked it for a couple days, but now hardly uses it. Not worth the $20.00 Spend a little more and get a better one.

I bought this for my 2.5 & 1 yr. old. Love the price! Easy to put together. I am saving the boxes of food for when they get older. My son has put it through the paces by running it all around the house. So far, so good. Nothing fancy, but it serves it's purpose.

Assembly was tedious and parts did not fit together well. We had to jury rig them into place.It is definitely a toddler TOY, not made for a child over age 3 as stated. I should have spent the extra money and bought the metal, fully assembled one. This toy is made cheaply and I expect it will not hold up very long.Skip this purchase.
The seller indicated they were sorry I was not satisfied and offered to have a conversation with me. I appreciated their response.

While this is cute, it is much smaller than it looks. An eight year old (for 3-8yrs)they would have to push on their knees. Labeled as metal.......not........mostly plastic. Included food is cardboard boxes that you have to fold.

This cart is a fun idea. The colors are pretty, it's just very flimsy and cheap. After one month it was completely bent, apparently simply from my 15 month old daughter's use. The wheel fell off shortly thereafter. It was impossible to fix. I would recommend saving your money and getting a better and more expensive shopping cart for your little one.

This toy is cute but the play food is easy to smash if accidently stepped on. My kid likes it though. She puts her baby in it and takes her shopping. It's a good buy for little ones who aren't destructive.
