I bought this heand-held TV two years ago. I live in Florida and, needless to say, we have some weather related power outages. This little gadget was the only source of information many times and it worked without problem. The only "downside" would be batteries. This unit uses 4 AA batteries and they don't last very long. This thing doesn't work! It died suddenly after 2 weeks and we had to fix it by shipping it out of state! Trust me, it's not worth the trouble.
