Originally published back in the 1980s, this is a very welcome re-print of a much-sought-after item that is essential reading for anyone interested in learning about the stories, rumors, legends and tales of so-called "Big Cats" on the loose, deep in the British countryside.
Are large, marauding lions, tigers, and more prowling the woods and fields of England by moonlight? Or are the tales merely a form of modern-day mythology? If the former, where did they come from?
