I normally don't write reviews but I think this product is so good it deserves it. I reload for my 10mm auto and my Razorback kicks out empties about 20 feet with full power loads. This handy dandy little product not only catches 98% of my brass but also doesn't interfere with my shooting comfort, either. Also, the brass that DOES miss the catcher still HITS the catcher and falls right to my feet. TOTALLY paid itself off in one shooting trip. This is truly a must have for people who reload and shoot autoloaders.

It's built just like those little nets that people use to remove dead fish from the aquarium, the same green coated wire. Instead of a green netting, it has a thin black cloth. To be fair, it works pretty well. It does require some tweaking to get it lined up. It catches about 80% of the brass from my .45. The remaining ones generally land around the feet because they bounced off the rim. Still beats chasing them all over the place. Seriously though, $20.75 + shipping! I believe judging by the construction, they could make a large profit while pricing it under $10 & free shipping (it weighs next to nothing.) When this one gives up, I will probably build my own out of an aquarium net and some elastic.

This shell catcher catches 85% of the fired brass on my 9mm and 45acp. It saves a lot of bending over to pick
up used brass for reloading.

This brass catcher is a good idea, but the execution is flawed in one critical respect. I have fairly large hands, and the supplied sewn-on elastic strap is very tight on my hand, particularly for a 100-plus round session. If the strap we're adjustable it would be much better. My son could not even get his hand through the strap without tearing it.

As other reviews of this and other similar catchers have noted, placement is critical. The best position for catching may obscure the sight line, so you have to compromise between efficiency and being able to see the target. I use mine on a Beretta 96 and a Bersa .380 with about 30-50% success. YMMV, of course.

The pistol brass catcher straps to your right hand. The metal wire frame can be bent & adjusted to match the ejection pattern of your handgun.

If I owned a single semi-auto handgun, this brass catcher would be less annoying. I would only have to make one adjustment and try to keep it set. I emphasize "try" because when it gets jostled in my range bag, it looses the adjusted shape.

Having the brass catcher in your field of view is unnatural. It does not interfere with sight picture, but I find it not normal to have a black obstruction to the periphery of the target.

The brass catcher does not catch every round. Whatever it doesn't catch, will most of the time get deflected down towards your feet instead of out and away. I find that the brass catcher works best with a few spent cases in the bag.

I only use this when I shoot re-loadable case ammo. Even though I do not reload, a spent case has some value to it. I'm not inclined to leave any item of value behind, even a spent case.

I save my once-fired spent brass for trade. It's better to save the spent cases to be reused by a reloader, than left behind to be destroyed.

This little net catches 80 + percent of the brass as others have said. It is easy to bend the net to catch brass from different firearms that eject in different ways. I have only used this product to catch pistol brass as the net is rather small and would not be well suited for larger rifle cases. The only complaint I have with this is that sometimes brass can bounce out of the net and Land on your hand and burn you so beware. Otherwise a great product that works as intended!

As with other reviewers, the product catches 80+ percent of the brass, and that which is doesn't catch falls at one's feet. Not bad considering all the energy expended when firing a handgun. I tested with a Beretta FS92 9mm and FNH FiveseveN 5.7X28, both using factory loads. This product saves a lot of time when policing brass, especially with the FiveseveN, which can fling the brass up to 30 feet. My only complaint was the net was not sewn well onto the wire frame, leaving about an inch gap that will eventually cause problems. I gave it a 3 star for poor quality control.
