4.0 out of 5 stars Time is a important thing By James Bonura, December 11, 2006
A Kid's Review
This book was extremely good. I don't know how I got hooked on to choose your own adventure books, but I'm glad I did. I think it was my teacher who got me hooked on them. The author gives you a wide selection of choices, some deadly and some not. Each ending suprised me because they all had there own little way to finish the story!

4.0 out of 5 stars Memories..., January 15, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I remember reading these books as a kid. I could spend hours rereading the same book over and over. And this is the first of the Choose Your Own Adventure books. Beware - there are other types out here, from the very good Time Machine books to the copy-cat if sometimes very weird Which Way Books. Not that those are bad it is just THESE are the books, in my mind that started it all.
And this is the first of them! You find yourself in a cave but not just any cave - it is the CAVE OF TIME! You may end up int he time of knights, or the Ice age, or you may end up in the future! The end depends on YOU! And unless the Time Machine Books, you CAN die in these - so be careful and pick wisely!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good as stated, August 1, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This book arrived sooner than projected and was in "good" condition, as stated. It had only some cover wear, a few worn pages and the previous author's name, all of which was listed before I bought the product. (I like specific information.)

I thoroughly enjoyed this classic book, and concept, from my childhood years. I also plan to include it in my "creative parties" -- by reading a story out loud to the group and asking volunteers to make the choices.
