I was disappointed in this book because it did not have much specific detail about life in the CCC, particularly in the North Central U.S. It focussed totally on the CCC Camp newletters and how they were published and what they covered without much specific detail. (I guess I should have believed the title.) You'd have to be totally into depression-era journalism to get your money's worth out of this book.
I'll be donating my copy to the local library. |
