I needed a T-handle hex head torque wrench for my new carbon bike. I thought I would pay a few bucks more to get a Snap-On company tool so I would be assured quality (CDI is a Snap-On company). It didn't work out very well! The tool worked OK for a couple weeks then became erratic. I went to the CDI website to get the information on having the tool repaired/replaced since it carried a year warranty. The directions had me send it to a repair center. I chose Angle Supply in WV, an authorized CDI repair center, as it was the closest to my home. Bottom line.....they sent it back to me (after having to inquire twice as to its status) with a caustic note saying "this tool was made in China and they don't do (underscore "do") foreign tools". So if your buy this tool, you're on you own if you have a problem. The Snap-On /CDI name and warranty means nothing. Their representives (Angle Supply)were at best rude. Don't waste your money on this item. This company's product doesn't warrant any premium.

Very simple and easy to use. This is a great tool for a bicyclyist. It is especially handy to torque any screw/bolts of this size.

Used on my carbon bike as recommended by my LBS's mechanics. My FSA carbon bars, stem and seat post require torque no more than 6nm. I tighten below the click to ensure no over torquing. Unless you want to spend several hundred $$ for an accurate click stop torque wrench get this tool. Sears has a set of 3 hex bits in 3, 4, and 5 mm for under $5.

Bought this in hopes of making things easier for me while fixing and tightening bolts on my bikes. One never knows how much tight bolts should be screwed in, and there is always the fear that it gets tightened too much stripping the bolt or too tight thus compromising the carbon frame. With this, I don't have to worry. If I don't want to go to the maximum torque, I just stop whenever I think it it tight enough. If I want to go to maximum torque, I keep going until it "breaks". No more fears! Construction of the tool is solid and the bits are interchangeable to accommodate different size bolts. Overall, good product that gets the job done.

I had two of these wrenches. One from a bike shop and one from Amazon. One of the two has lasted for two years but the internal shaft on one sheared off after about a year of use. Both wrenches fit the palm well but interchanging bits is more difficult than another model of torque wrench I have. The bits tend to lock into this model and pliers are sometimes required to change them.

I thought I was getting a white one but it came as the green version but it is the right torque rating. So all is good

I just bought a new carbon road bike frame, seat post and bars. This torque tool has been great for a making adjustments during the fitting process. I no longer worry about applying too much torque. I just turn until I hear the pleasant clicking sound signaling 5 Newton Meters. I carry the tool in my back pocket and make adjustments during my long rides. I prefer this over my heavy ratchet torque wrench. I have no complaints. It's easy to use, comfortable feel and is an overall great tool!

I bought all 3 of these tools (4, 5 and 6 NM) and while I have not used them for an extended period of time they seem to perform as expected. Since I don't have the torque calibration gauge - I tried them sequentially on socket screws requiring 6NM - and they do release in order. While they are made in China - they seem well made and come with documentation that says they were calibrated, tested and inspected. Time will tell how they hold up compared to the much more expensive Utica torque screwdriver that I also use for higher torque settings.
