Works great,

This review is from: CDN TM8 Digital Timer and Clock Memory Feature (Kitchen)
The things I really like about this timer:
When the timer counts down to zero, the alarm beeps continuoulsy for a minute. Also, a little indicator will come on saying "Time's Up", and the counter start to count up. Also, the time will blink - so if you are using multiple timers in a noisy environment, you can see which timer has expired. The magnetic clip uses a real magnet that holds more securely than other timer's I've tried. Also, there is a piece of wire that easily flips down to convert the timer into a free standing counter-top unit. The LCD segments are nice and fat, and has pretty decent contrast. Much easier to read than cheaper counters. You can assign the count-down duration to a memory button, so that if you're always using the same duration, it only takes two presses to reload the timer duration. The timer is utilitarian -- it's not much to look at -- but it sure works well!

CDN truly delivers a great multi function product with this timer. Simply slide the switch on the side to switch from clock mode, count down mode to timer mode. The timer beep is very loud and works great as a portable alarm clock. The countdown feature helps with time management and the count up feature is also a great time measurement tool. These are the same timers that are used by Starbucks coffee shops. Features a built on magnet with a push out stand so that it can rest on it's own or be placed on a magnetic surface. I love my timer/clock/alarm, and the battery is user replaceable, just swing by any k-mart or wal-mart and head for the watch section, to find a replacement battery. The only thing I would add is a 'lock' feature, other than that it's almost perfect!

Little timer with a loud signal,

This timer is simple to use and broadcasts a very loud alarm signal, which is very important to me. So many digital timers can't be heard just one room away. I've had my CDN timer for years, and have bought additional ones as gifts.
