Holds up well without a lot of abuse.,

I have had my 256 cd holder for over a year now. Every page is filled with both the liner notes and a cd. I must say that I was very pleased with the case for about the first 8 months but then after that either by a fault of my own (I may have overstuffed the pages), or the manufacturer's fault, the binder has now broken and it does not hold up as well. If Im not careful the entire pages fall right out of the case. I am a DJ and use my cds extensively so it may be due to the fact that I have put this case through heavy abuse. I would never deter someone from buying this product, especially if you have a large amount of cds you need to carry on the road. Just be careful with the binder!

Nice try, but could use some touches,

Obviously the designer of this CD Wallet could use some pointers. The pages should be removable so one can rearrange categories without moving everything over, or reserving blanks between genres. A larger margin between the binder and the pages would be nice. I can sense that the edges of the CDs may get stressed when the Wallet is open. Also the sleeve pockets need to be a little larger. They fit the CD like a condom. Some of the CD booklets in many of my CD's will not fit in the sleeve.Practically impossible to put both CD and booklets into one sleeve. I have not even attempted to put the front and back cover art into the slots, I doubt they both will fit. So, you are down to 128 or so CDs if you like to carry the CD track listings etc. Another idea is to have an extra stash spot for miscellaneous items Also, why not get some index-tabs into the equation. Not a terrible product, but could certainly use a re-noodling for version 2. Hey, How about a Leather version ;-)

i love this case. it's not too small that i'm constantly having to choose which cds to bring with me to my radio station, but it's not so big that it's unweildy. it has travelled with me across the country numerous times, between my home and school. i'm growing out of mine now, and i think i'll buy a new one. i haven't had any problems with the handles, or the overall integrity of the structure. as a student, between going to parties, travelling, and general abuse, i put a lot of strain on my case, and so far, in three years, it has held up.good luck.
