A Great Holiday Collection!,

I picked this up on a whim during Christmas, 1996. While not a perfect album, it does rate as the best Celtic holiday album that I have seen so far. Highlights for me include Celtia, Anuna, Altan and Nightnoise. Celtia's Christmas Pipes is one song that is a standard at Christmas for me. Very moving and deeply harmonic.

This is my absolute favorite Christmas CD. The music is quite varied, but it is all beautiful and relaxing. Listening to it while gazing at the tree lights is the ultimate prescription for serenity. Everyone I've played this for wants a copy--this music has near-universal appeal. Buy it--you'll be thrilled!
