Our dogs really enjoy brushing with this toothpaste and we humans enjoy the vanilla-minty fresh breath they have afterwards. We have used it for years and recently our Veterinarian commented how good our 13 year old dog's teeth appeared.

We've been using the CET Vanilla-Mint toothpaste on our golden retriever for about 18 months, and we're very, very pleased. I brush the dog's teeth first and then I brush my own; it's easy to remember that way. The dog seems to enjoy having her teeth brushed every night, and both she and we like the smell of the vanilla-mint flavor. Her teeth are very white and bright, and best of all her breath smells great- no "doggie breath".
If you're taking your dog to the vet to have her/his teeth cleaned, you really should try this instead. It hardly takes any time at all each night, and your pet's teeth will look white all of the time. The pricing on Amazon is very good, and it's convenient to have it delivered right to our door. VERY pleased with this product!

My vet recommended this brand of toothpaste because it's 'enzymatic' and breaks down bacteria even after you're done brushing (unlike most pet-store brands). The best part is it comes in Vanilla-Mint, so it actually smells pleasant and is just a much better experience than using poultry- or beef-flavored toothpaste (those just sound gross). And it really works--my dogs' breath gets noticeably worse if I miss a day or two of brushing. Good stuff!
