I got the vanilla mint specifically because I see no point in brushing my dog's teeth with a beefy or poultry flavor as we have in the past -- this one smells delicious. 2 of my 4 dogs like it alright, the other two protested valiantly. Overall, I would say most dogs will tolerate it, but I'd not recommend it be the flavor you START brushing with. Pick one gross to you and yummy for your dog for that purpose :)

This one makes their breath very fresh. Brush daily!

My dogs love this toothpaste-they actually try to lick the tube!!! I have brushed their teeth every day with this toothpaste since I brought them home-One is 7yrs, one is 8 yrs. The vet says that their teeth look like they are puppies-they have no breath!!!
