Book Description

Inspired by the recent events involving Charlie Sheen, VATICAN ASSASSIN WARLOCK is a dark satire where an actor named Charlie is a supernatural hero, battling the forces of evil in Los Angeles with his two partners - who are literal Goddesses. When someone murders someone very close to him, Charlie must use all of his considerable Vatican Assassin Warlock powers to avenge the death, only to discover that nothing... and no one... is quite what it seems.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wild, wacky, and wonderful March 23, 2011

Vatican Assassin Warlock is terrific. With characters based in pop culture, the story races along nonstop from the thrilling opening scene right up to the heart-pounding conclusion. I couldn't stop reading. In fact, I can't wait for the sequel.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-read for those composed of Adonis DNA March 22, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
This amazingly clever satire imagines our favorite bad boy actor as a real assassin warlock in LA with two gorgeous goddesses by his side. Charlie is painted as a dark, fantastical figure as he fights evil in heroic fashion. This is a fun, juicy, totally enjoyable read--for pop-culture junkies, rock stars from mars, readers with tiger blood running through their veins, and fans of fantasy and satire.

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny as hell March 3, 2012

Damn good book. I didn't expect all that much from a book with Charlie Sheen's name on it, but I was mistaken. Funny as hell. Action-packed madness that is well worth your time. I would definitely buy the sequel.

More About the Author

MAX BRALLIER is an author, videogame designer/scripter, and all around pretty cool dude. During the daylight hours, he works in the Ad/Promo department at a book publisher.

He's the author of Reasons to Smoke, Reasons to Drink, The All-Star Bathroom Sampler, and Toilet Trivia (to clarify, Toilet Trivia is NOT trivia ABOUT toilets - it's trivia and fun stuff to read ON the toilet. Although a book of trivia about toilets might actually be kinda cool - so if you're an editor and want to do that book, hook it up!)

His first novel, the horror/humor/pick-your-own-path-style mashup Can YOU Survive the Zombie Apocalypse? is coming from Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, Feb '11. And it's awesome.javascript:void(0)
