If I do not take these, I wake up several times in the night and take an take 15 minutes to an hour to fall asleep again.

When I take these I wake only once and take under 10 minutes to fall asleep again.

These are not habit forming. If I forget to take one my body does not remind me of its absence other than my waking up several times that night.
