Excellent cake pan. I made numbers (10), however, I did not exactly follow the provided directions for the numbers because I wanted them thicker. Once baked, I was a little perplexed by the rise in the cake because I had hoped they would be perfectly square. After the cake cooled for 10 minutes I used a large butcher knife to slice the rise off the top and then let the cake cool completely. I transferred the cake to a cake board and put in the freezer for about 2 hours before frosting. This prevented the cake from crumbling when frosting. Great product!

I bought this pan to make the number 60 for my Mom's Birthday. It was fairly easy to use and fun. I have since loaned it out to friends and family. A couple of tips...use the vegetable spray with the flour in it. It helps the cake come out easier. Also pour your cake batter into a large measuring cup to make it easier to pour into the pan otherwise it is hard to pour neatly around.

This is an incredibly versatile pan that is only limited by your imagination! I have been doing all kinds of cakes for about 30+ years, including wedding cakes, and while I found this pan to be rather expensive, I also realized that I could do just about ANYTHING with it! I would suggest that if you plan on spelling out someone's name, or a long word, that you get two pans; that way, you can be baking one and getting another cake ready to go into the oven at the same time. It is costly at the beginning, but the amount of time that you save in the long run will be worth it. The only thing that I wish it had were some blocks that were triangles that could be substituted for the entire square. Otherwise, it is great, and I am very pleased that I got two of them!

This things is so awesome! I couldn't find anything else like it and I'm sure I'll have it for ever! The first cake I made was for a 21st birthday for a friends. It turned out awesome. The only thing I suggest is make sure you properly grease everywhere!

This is an amazing product! You can create just about anything you can imagine simply, neatly, and cost effectively. I would highly recommend it!
