Top quality, easy to season (oil), and we've used it for everything from pizza crust, to pie crusts, to rolling out homemade pasta dough!

Great product. Don't buy the cheaper imitiation product. This is the real McCoy. It does not move around on the counter top. Heavy wood. Great buy.

I ordered this for my Mom for Christmas in November. The first one arrived damaged (corner was broken off during shipping and due to poor packing). It took three phone calls to get ANY kind of help as there was no packing slip enclosed with the item and no email contact with the order confirmation. Finally, after explaining it was a gift and if I didn't get it in time for Christmas, I would return it period, the customer service representative sent out a new one and sent a return label for the first one. Great item, great quality and happy I bought it, just VERY difficult to get any customer service from Chefs!

This is a very nice pastry board; it feels heavy and very solid. I wasn't sure if it is going to be big enough for rolling the dough for pirogies but it was just right. The two open sides made it easy for rolling. The front lip kept the board in place, without sliding all over the counter. I will enjoy it for years to come.

This board is worth its (heavy) weight in gold. For anyone who bakes, makes pasta or just rolls out some frozen dough, this board will not move around on you. It doesn't warp or fall apart like bamboo boards. The front lip is great. While having the back lip keeps the mess down, it is hindering if you want to roll past the end of the board. I dampened the board down and dried and let the grain rise. Then I sanded with 220 before oiling.

The kind of wood it is made of would be good to know but the picture was excellent. This is a great wedding gift because it will last for years. It inspires you to bake something every day. Perfect for cut-out cookies, pie crusts and my own surprise burgers.

I have owned this for about 5 months or so now. We love it! Top quality, easy to season (oil), and we've used it for everything from pizza crust, to pie crusts, to rolling out homemade pasta dough! Steady, sturdy board, love the ability to flip the board keeping the pastry side just for doughs...and WELL WORTH the price! Professional board in my opinion.

This sucker is huge, but as much as it's got going on with it, you won't mind much. Either side could actually be used, if you wanted to use the back side for a cutting board, though when ya spend that much on a dough board, what's another $20 for a cutting board?

It has inches across the top, diameters down the middle, and even a little spot for "tarts" if I remember right. IT's very attractive looking, it actually looks pretty pimp just sitting on your counter at all times, and makes it look like your a avid baker :P. I used those slip proof mats before getting this and it's like night and day. It's a good investment, and if you take care of it, it should last forever.

This thing is great for rolling out or working doughs for anything. I've made multiple kinds of breads, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, sugar cookies, and pie crusts on this and works like a charm. It's a bit too big for my sink - so I have to be a bit creative about cleaning it off, but I have a small apartment so I figure that's the reason.
