completely stainless steel without any brushed effect (which i despise), these seem as solid as you can get without getting too heavy, but not so light that they'll be easily dented. there will be a perfectly sized bowl for you in this set. if you need a non-slippage feature, i presume you have to pay a lot more, but i found such a feature to be more gimicky and only adds unnecessary weight.

very easy to wash, safe for the dishwasher, and also a good distraction for a toddler.

Have had a set of these for 5+ years. Will last a lifetime! The variety of sizes is excellent from the small holding about 2 cups to the biggest (maybe a couple of gallons?). The 2 middle sized bowls are used the most often. I even use the biggest for washing dishes after use and have a few items to clean rather than filling the sink. Dishwasher safe - both top and bottom shelves. Still a great value. They nest well but you need the space to store them - the largest is just over 13" across and the depth is 8". Excellent wedding gift!

These bowls are so light!!!! There is a bowl of every size that you would need and the set is very light-weight, you can pick up the whole set with one hand!! This means they are easy to grab and deal with. They are also very attractive and they have a flat bottom plus wide open mouth so you can really mix things with ease and use whisks with no problem! I was very pleased with this set especially for the price of a whole set of stainless steel bowls!!!
