Typical James Michener novel. Great historical novel of the Chesapeake East-Bay area of Maryland from the time before we were a nation to the mid-70s. Kind of a sad ending.

I loved this book. What a great introduction to James Michener. I just started to read Caribbean and if it is almost as good I will be one happy reader.
