This round brush is a must for styling long hair! It cuts drying time, is light weight, and is fantastic managing hair! It glides easily, and doesn't get tangled in any way; the easiness with which this brush goes through hair had me hipnotized, to tell the truth.

Beware and be gentle: The bristles will scratch at scalp, so be careful when styling hair from the roots.

This is a great brush in design. I just think it has some flaws. First the good things I can say about it. It is very light, and built very well. The negative things I would say is the bristles feel like nails on my scalp, its very rough. I only use for the long ends of my hair. Women with longer than should lenght hair would love this. On the ends of my hair where it does not have to touch my head its 5 stars. But due to the bristles being so hard I it really brings down the enjoyment of this bush for me.

I love CHI. I bought the large round brush. I should have gotten the medium. It works really well, grabs & holds the hair for blow drying but it is a VERY LARGE brush! Best suited for really long, thick hair.

Great Brush, it works really fast to help dry my hair and keep it smooth. Very lightweight, so my arm doesn't get tired quickly. I like the roughness of the bristles (which I read other reviewers commenting that they were too stiff and hurt their scalps). I find the stiffness helps cut through my thick hair better, and I like feeling on my scalp as well.

I have thick, long and wavy hair, with much more volume than the average head. This brush is great for my hair! Wavy or straight styling, this brush really can go through my hair all the way to my scalp, and... I cannot say that it simply "brush" my hair, because what it really does is massage my head while smoothing my hair. This paddle design is very good, big and will cover a lot (the rectangle measures aproximately 8.2 cm x 12 cm). I am very happy with my brush!

Very light brush, easy to manipulate. A little larger than I expected, it still works well for my fairly long, very curly hair. I never thought I could blow out my hair by myself--I figured my arm would fall off with fatigue. But my hair dries to fast with this brush. It's quite surprising. Plus, I've also learned that with my thick, curly hair, I need to use the highest heat on my blow dryer.

Another trick I learned that I didn't believe until I tried it--make sure your hair is 80-90% dry before you blow it out. I heard that the first 80% of blowdrying is drying. The last 10-20% is styling. So if you eliminate the drying, it saves a lot of time and energy. It really works.

I also bought the small brush (same manufacturer/style) to help with the hair close to my face. I wish it weere more narrow, but it's okay.

I bought a Salono hair blower. My friend said it was the best brand she ever bought. I didn't know what to expect--the only hair drier I had was one from my mom that I never used. It blew five minutes after I started using it. The Salono works great. Lots of power.

This brush is incredible. I bought this because I was told a flat square brush is actually healthier for my hair and I am so very glad I followed that advice. It smooths and flattens my hair, without a lot of breakage. My favorite brush. Also, to note, my hair is to the middle of my back and medium fine blonde hair.

I prefer boar bristle brushes since they leave my hair smoother. This brush helps to dry the hair fast however, it doesn't leave the hair smooth.

Purchased it for my girlfriend because she wanted a paddle brush. I never use it so my review is based off of her usage. She says that she likes it but that it's a brush so she's not very enthused about reviewing it. She says that it works and makes her hair smaller which is good since she has enough volume.

My mom had a similar brush so I bought one for my home. It is great - like a message for your head!!!
