I have fine hair but a lot of it. It can get very brittle and damages easily. This product has been a life saver, it does not weigh my hair down. The scent is very unique, but not in a bad way, has a strong sandlewood scent. It is nice because it is not the normal fruity scent. It does stick with you, I went on a road trip and was not able to wash my hair in the morning, my mother said it still smelled fresh and clean. A little, like 1/2 teaspoon is more than enough for someone with long hair, mine is almost mid-back. I rub it in my palms and just scrunch it into my wet hair. Use caution because too much and you can end up with an oil slick. You mainly want to get in on the ends of the hair and avoid, or use very sparingly, on the roots. A 6oz bottle will last you for some time, I started with a .5oz bottle and it lasted me longer than I had expected. I would highly recommend for those with frizz or damaged hair, you will see a noticeable difference.

Bought this product to help soften my hair in the winter (the winter air leaves my hair very dry). It instantly leaves it soft and shiny. It also detangles, making by hair easier to brush. Just be careful not to use too much as it can leave your hair, and your hands, feeling a little greasy. With that said, this product is probably not the best for oily hair as it will make your hair feel extra oily. It is better on normal to dry hair. Overall, a decent product as long as you can stand the scent. I like the smell (it smells like men's cologne in a way) but it is very distinctive. My roommate smelled it and knew exactly what product I was using. The scent after a while can become a bit much but if you can get over this, the product is very good.

Okay, saw this stuff on a little video about the hot rollers... got the rollers and wanted to try the Chi Silk Fusion. Now, I don't think I can live without this stuff. I use it on damp, very long hair and it is incredible and does not make hair get dirty faster like some of the products out there. Really is great stuff and does what it says... shine and softens... and the smell! Wow, very nice, very delicate... just want to sniff the bottle all the time! I have very sensitive skin and tried it overnite on my arm before use... must be a natural fragrance as there was no problem and I have to use all unscented stuff... Just remember to use a tiny amount like a pea or less the first time... everybody's hair is different, so start out with just a tiny amount to see how your hair will work with this product.. Chi products are great!
