Sometimes it's about the Aloha, December 9, 2008

Remember WWII and Pearl Harbor? Red wagons and tin doll houses and gaudy christmas decorations lighting up the fragrant Christmas tree? I'm sure these musicians do. At their age, what they may lack in perfect pitch they more than make up for in fine song choices and sweet aloha. I had forgotten some of these songs as I heard them when I was very little. This would fit in beautifully with some holiday slack key and a couple of heavy hitters from the 50's at random on the 6-changer. Sorry my mother's no longer around to check this cd out. She was a haole like me and I can just hear her singing along.
