Let me be frank, blunt, and to the point.
I'm a bachelor who didn't get around to cleaning my toilet bowl very often. Additionally, I live in a city served by very hard water. The result: A toilet with a hardened layer of calcium and lime an eighth of an inch thick all around the bowl. When I finally got serious about cleaning my place, I tried a number of products including CLR, Lysol toilet bowl cleaner, bleach and washing powder, and ammonia. None of them worked. They just whitened the calcium lime layer but didn't remove it, and the layer would eventually return to it's previous dingy yellow shade.

Then I tried Snobol. I applied it to the bowl liberally, then left on a week long vacation. When I came back the calcium\lime layer was literally SLIDING down the inside of the bowl. It took very little effort to scrub it off and within 2 minutes it was gleaming white and clean as if it were new!

The acid content on this stuff is no joke, which is where the cleaning power comes from, so make sure you wear gloves and have good ventilation. Just apply it to the bowl, come back later, and scrub and the bowl will shine. This is the best stuff on the market for residential use, period.

I purchase sno-bol before out of the stores and to my surprise they didn't carry it anymore, so i started checking the internet. lo, and behold I found it at amazon on my first try, friend of mine told me that I found it cheaper than he did , so he is orderingfrom AMAZON FOR CARRYING SON-BOL AT REASONABLE PRICE. OH, BY THE WAY TIS IS THE BEST CLEANER FOR A TOILET. THANKS.

This is the only product I have found to remove hard water/iron deposits from my toilets. I am only frustrated that I have to order it online. I cannot find this product anywhere locally. The first time I found it in a local hardware store and have not found it since.

I love, love, love this product. There is no better toilet bowl cleaner out there! I just wish it was available at local retailers.

Sno Bol is the best Toliet Bowl cleaner ever made! I would recommend this product to anyone. I wish I could buy it at a local store.

We have well water and have an awful time with mineral build up. This is the only product that I have found that works for us. My family used it when I was growing up but for some reason no one sells it locally anymore. I was so happy to find it again on Amazon.

Our's is a 10 year-old house and the toilets were beginning to build-up brown streaks.
I tried several cleaning solutions/sprays/abrasives on the market but could not get the streaks out.
This one worked the first time. I just applied it, brushed a bit, and flushed. All the streaks were gone
and the bowls look new. Impressed!

This product is the best cleaner I have found, mainly because of it's high aci content. That's why it's hard to find because it isn't to safe you do follow safety requirements: like wearing gloves and not letting the stuff touch your skin, and if using wiithout diluting on bath tub, make sure you have some sort of mask or ALOT of ventilation acid fumes are dangerous. Since ALOT of consumers arent the sharpest tools in the shed this brand has become somewhat ignored by the big stores. For the toilet no mask is required as the acid is dilute in water.
Big Pros:
Things cleans the tub and leaves it brand new. It removed the rust with some elbow grease, hard water stains, and all those mineral build ups.
For the toilet, follow directions and you have a brand néw looking toilet. This product is amazing.

Small Cons:
Hard to find. Not anymore thanks to amazon
Not to cheap, but this is quality stuff.
Kind of dangerous if your not hazardous and take proper precautions.

SUMMARY: buy the stuff you won't regret it, unless some lands in your eye(flush with water immediately for 15-30minutes) ;)

All toilet bowl cleaners are not created equal.If you're buying the cheapest thing on the shelf because you think it doesn't matter, shame on you. The item responsible for cleaning the most germ-ridden thing in your home is not the place to save a few shekels. Besides, used sparingly and regularly, a bottle lasts a long time. Blue bowl water is no assurance of real cleanliness. It just covers up what's building up - out of sight, out of mind (until someone gets sick). Every toilet in your house needs a good scrubbing with a top-grade product at least weekly, preferably with an overnite soak. Make it the last thing you do at night after everybody else has gone to bed, then let it sit.

This product is the absolute best. It is so good that in the hard water area of Madison, Wisconsin, it is often specified in rental leases as the product required for cleaning the toilet. Why? High acid content. If you've got a ring or stains that just don't seem to go away, it is most likely because you've got a build-up of lime that has taken on colors. Molds and mildews, especially the black variety, are also very fond of the slime that builds up in water with a high percentage of organic matter. Other brands just don't cut it; you need the hydrochloric acid in Sno-bol. I've looked for other brands with similar properties; no such luck. In a day and age where water quality in most areas is dropping like a stone, the problem will get worse before it gets better. Folks who keep track of trends tell us that the average American home is not as clean as it used to be-bigger and much more expensive, but dirtier. They attribute that nasty fact to the influx of women into the work force, along with the demise of home-cooked meals, ironed clothes and real moms. Regardless of the values that you may ascribe to, at the very least, keep your toilet clean, preferably with this product.
