The Culinary Institute of America has come together with their Master Chef's to develop a line of exceptional kitchenware for the home chef. This 12"x17" coolign rack is a perfect example of the thoughtful details they have put into their product development, and because of that this piece won "Top Honors" in December of 2008 from one of the most well regarded kitchen magazines in the U.S. Sturdy construction, closely spaced wires, and the fact that this piece fits perfectly in a 1/2 sheet pan make this a must have for any kitchen.

I just got my cooling rack yesterday and emailed the company with this question:
"I just bought the 12 X 17 cooling rack. I just want to make sure it is okay to use in the oven as a drip rack. Thanks!" This was not explicitly included in the instructions. I was answered THE NEXT DAY!!
"The CIA Cooling Rack can be used in the oven as a drip rack. We suggest no higher temp than 450 degrees be used. Do not use under broiler."

We bought this along with the Lincoln Food Service Sheet Pan Half size, which it fits exactly. They make a great pair for cooking bacon in the oven and the rack cleans up easily in the dishwasher. We're completely satisfied.

Looked everywhere for a rack of this size to fit my baking pans, and could not find the right size anywhere. Have used it now for several months and love the fit and quality.

great wire rack
fits perfect in calphalon half sheet, but not so good in the cheap half sheet pans. Is good enough in the cheap pans though.

This is a must for any kitchen that has a half sheet baking pan

What's to say
This larger cooling rack seems well built, and easily accommodates long skinny breads and big ol bundt cakes. When I cool a batch of Nan Khatai there's no crowding on the rack. Read more

love it with my wear-ever aluminum pan
This wire cooling rack fits perfectly into my pan enabling me to cook using the rack in the pan. I would recommend this wire rack.

Very nice!
