Design
The F9200's face features a large, 65,000-color screen with 128 x 160 pixels. The full QWERTY keyboard slides out of the right side of the phone, which automatically flips the display to read horizontally. Secondary selection buttons above the keyboard allow the phone to be operated in this horizontal orientation. Other design features include a standard jack to accept universal hands-free headsets and a five-way center button that controls most of the phone's on-screen menus. An internal antenna keeps the F9200 sleek and compact, while a VGA (640 x 480) camera on the phone's back panel lets you snap shots with ease.
Calling Features
The phone's internal phone book can accommodate all your contacts for quick retrieval of numbers, email addresses and other info. The phone supports polyphonic ringtones, as well as vibrating alerts. Voice dialing lets you call your favorite contacts by simply speaking their names, while a speakerphone makes it easy to talk handsfree. A ringer ID function allows you to set specific ringers to certain callers.

Support for basic text messaging and robust multimedia messaging are built into the F9200, as are client applications for AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, and ICQ. BEST PHONE THAT I HAVE OWNED!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: CINGULAR/AT&T LG F9200 (Wireless Phone)
This is by far the best phone that I have ever owned. Its got all a teenager wants these days, keypad for quick texting, AIM, Yahoo and ICQ, mobile email, what else could a teen ask for?? I have had this phone for 3 weeks (I got it at Wal Mart) and very impressed by it. MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET INSURENCE FROM CINGULAR!! Even though this is a really cool phone, it feels a lot cheaper then my other phones that I have owned. I have owned a LGF9100, Motorola V551 and Rokr and this one just isnt as sturdy. Now I will list out the Pro's and Con's
Pros- 1. Easy one touch access to camera 2. Easy one touch access to write a SMS 3. It may look hard, and I have had lots of people say why would you get that keypad? And I give them a go at typing, and they are in love. Its a lot easier than it looks 4. Long battery life Cons- 1. A little big 2. Cant turn on speakerphone until the other person answers 3. Every time you send an SMS, it asks you if you want to save a copy to your sent box, and it gets anoying after a while 4. This one is a really big one, NO BLUETOOH! Most phones these days have bluetooth on them but this new phone dosent seen to need it( I guesse thats what the designers were thinking) 5. Camera sucks, camera isnt the greatest camera in the world Overall I am very satisfied with this phone, except for the minor cons (excluding bluetooth). I think that I will keep this phone for a while. This phone is the greatest phone for you teens out there, parents, be prepared for high SMS bills!!!

Really nice phone,
This review is from: CINGULAR/AT&T LG F9200 (Wireless Phone)
I recieved this phone about two weeks ago and I have gotten a good chance to get to know it. Since I purchased it, it is has been unavailable both here and from cingular.com. No idea why since the model came out only very recently. If you can get your hands on one, I highly recommend it.
It has some major improvements over the 9100 including: 1) Nice big buttons on the face. 2) Slider stays put instead of sliding out accidentally. 3) A camera. 4) Better reception. Other Positives: 1) Good reception. With Cingular, it has better reception than my Sony Erricsson or my Treo 650. 2) Great keyboard. The buttons are just the right size. However, if you were a man with big hands, I could see the keys being too small. 3) Sharp, pretty screen. Negatives: 1) Navigating to send a text message is more complicated than it should be. 2) No bluetooth. I hate that. Although you can buy a sync cable on ebay for about $4.

I just received this phone after trying several different devices through Cingular. At first I was a bit skeptical but once I received the phone and started to get fimilar with it, I was impressed and finally satisfied. I enjoy the size of the phone. It fits right in the palm of my hand. I like the slide out key board...makes texting a lot easier. The number pad is large enough to see...some other phones the number pad is too small. The only con I would say is the camera. The pictures aren't the best but I really don't care about that. The reception sure far is great. I really can't find anything to complain about with this phone. Although it doesn't have the bluetooth technology which all the new phones should have...its OK for me right now. Who know what I will see in six months!
