UPS AND DOWNS,

The fourth book in "The Chronicles of Athas" DarkSun series, this novel by Lynn Abbey painted a great picture of the burnt wastes of the land of Athas. The character development was good but the plot could have profited from a few more twists. Occasionally a bit predictable, but overall a good story for anyone who likes the DarkSun genre.
